Ranking privacy notice

This notice covers product submissions, ranking boosts and outbound click measurement.

Data we process

• Product name, URL, description, category and optional image URL.
• Contact email supplied during submission or boost.
• Stripe Checkout identifiers, payment status, amount and timestamps. GadgetsManía never receives or stores full card details.
• Outbound click timestamp and referring host. We do not intentionally store the visitor's full IP address in the ranking database.

Purposes

We process data to provide and order the ranking, verify payments, prevent abuse, moderate listings, answer support requests and measure the visibility delivered.

Legal bases and retention

Payment and listing data is processed to perform the requested service and meet legal obligations. Security and abuse-prevention processing is based on legitimate interests. Payment records are retained for the legally required accounting period; rejected or abandoned submissions may be removed sooner.

Processors and international access

Stripe processes payments, Vercel hosts the website and API, and Render hosts PostgreSQL. Their processing locations and safeguards are governed by their respective data processing terms.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to processing. Use the contact page. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Cookies

The ranking does not require advertising cookies. Language and checkout retry identifiers are stored locally in your browser for functionality. Stripe applies its own necessary security technologies on its hosted Checkout page.
